1. Who is responsible

GO ELITE LLC operates LoveThisPlace and is responsible for personal information collected through the platform. Elite Cartagena and other Go Elite Global teams may support a request when they are involved in sales, coordination, or service support.

2. Information we collect

• Contact information such as name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and preferred language.
• Trip and booking information such as dates, group size, destination, requested offering, budget, preferences, and special requests.
• Account and authentication information when you create or use an account.
• Founding referral-network interest such as participant type, city, intended participation, and contact consent.
• Transaction records such as quote acceptance, payment status, receipts, refunds, disputes, and provider/offering attribution.
• Technical, source, and security information such as session data, IP address, browser details, referring page, campaign parameters, request logs, and strictly necessary cookies.
• Messages, support requests, reviews, or other information you choose to send.

3. How we use information

• Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes.
• Confirm, coordinate, support, change, or cancel requested services.
• Share the information needed by the local provider to perform the booking.
• Process and document payments, refunds, reconciliation, and disputes.
• Secure accounts, prevent fraud and duplicate submissions, and protect the platform.
• Measure interest in the founding referral pilot and contact people who ask to hear about it.
• Maintain business, accounting, tax, consumer-support, and legal records.
• Measure public-page traffic, campaign performance, and completed inquiry events without placing customer contact details in analytics events.
• Send marketing only when permitted; you may unsubscribe at any time.

4. When we share information

We share information only as needed for the purposes above. Recipients may include the local property, yacht, transport, or experience provider; Elite Cartagena personnel supporting the booking; payment processors; hosting and database providers; professional advisers; and public authorities when legally required.

We do not sell personal information. A provider receives only the information reasonably needed to quote, confirm, or perform the requested service.

5. Payments

When card or bank payment is offered, the selected payment processor receives the financial details required to complete the transaction. GO ELITE LLC receives transaction status, amount, currency, reference, and limited account information needed for receipts, support, reconciliation, and disputes.

Do not send complete card numbers or online-banking credentials through an inquiry form, email, or WhatsApp.

6. International processing

GO ELITE LLC operates from the United States and coordinates services with providers in Colombia and other destinations. Information may therefore be processed in the United States, Colombia, and locations used by our technology and payment providers.

We use service providers such as Firebase and Vercel for application infrastructure and apply contractual, access, and security controls appropriate to the information handled.

7. Retention

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide service, maintain transaction evidence, handle support or disputes, protect the platform, and meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or restrict it from ordinary use.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information, withdraw an optional marketing consent, or object to a particular use. Send the request from the email or telephone number associated with the record to jc@elitecartagena.com.

We may retain information required for a confirmed transaction, fraud prevention, legal claim, accounting record, or other legal obligation. We will explain the reason when a request cannot be completed in full.

9. Cookies and security

LoveThisPlace uses strictly necessary cookies and session data to secure accounts and protected pages. Public storefronts use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure page traffic, campaign sources, and completed inquiry events. Analytics events do not include the customer’s name, email address, telephone number, preferred date, notes, or message.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including controlled access and server-managed sessions. No online service can promise absolute security.

10. Children

LoveThisPlace is intended for adults arranging travel and services. Do not submit a booking inquiry on behalf of a child unless you are the parent, guardian, or authorized adult responsible for the trip.

We do not knowingly use children’s information for marketing.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as LoveThisPlace adds services or technology. The effective date on this page identifies the current version.
